We are currently looking for a Part Time Property Maintenance worker in the Lakeshore area.  Must have your own vehicle.

Position will start March 2025.

This is a part time position and best suited for a retiree.

Must be able to work 8:00 am to 1:00 pm approx. Thursday to Monday (off Tuesday and Wednesday). 

GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Commercial Site Duties: 

• Reporting to commercial site each morning
• Walk around with broom and pan and sweep up any litter, empty garbage containers into dumpsters

 Daily Site Maintenance Duties:

• Removal of all papers, bottles, cans and other debris form (leaves, goose droppings, cob webs etc.) within all property boundaries including driveway areas, walkways and landscaped areas, as well as all garage and garbage areas
• Visual inspection of entire property and reporting of any issues
• Sweeping, vacuuming, using leaf blower if required
• Power washing
• Remove any standing water from property
• General cleaning of different areas and items (BBQ, patio furniture, outdoor fireplace, fridges, garbage pails, rink etc.)
• Keeping garages neat and tidy (all supplies on shelves, hoses hung in proper places, floor kept spotless, inspection of battery chargers, inspection of humidifiers etc.)
• Drain clearing, planters, pots etc.
• All windows and door frames
• Other common areas as may be required such as bar area, rink etc.

In addition to the daily checklist of jobs the contractor will be asked by the House Manager, Assistant Property Manager and or Owner to complete other tasks around the property. These tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning of the pool and spas (includes vacuuming, scrubbing, adding chemicals, topping up water levels etc.)
• Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and full of gas (includes putting gas in recreational vehicles)
• Maintaining the rink (includes duties as instructed and keeping the surface clear of leaves and debris when not in use)
• Moving items as requested by the House Manager, Assistant Property Manager and or Owner (i.e. moving boxes down from attic, assisting moving items around the property etc.)
• Cleaning boats and or vehicles if requested (includes covering boats)
• Take out garbage containers to road weekly and return after they have been emptied (ensure yard waste, garbage, recycle are put in the correct bins)
• Power wash green moss from interlocking stone, clean calcium deposits from stone/slate
• Inspect for nests and remove (around stucco overhang, back of garage, on house etc.)
